James began working with my son Fletcher when he started school at the Denver School of the Arts (DSA) as a guitar major. He worked with Fletcher for six years and was indispensible in keeping him on track. Fletcher struggled with music theory when he started at DSA but under James’ consistent, disciplined and compassionate tutelage he thrived. James pushed him to when it was necessary, supported him when it was needed and always brought out the best in him as a person and as a musician. He would not enjoy the career in music he enjoys today if it had not been for James. I highly recommend James as a guitar teacher.
